Ways to Give

Our fiscal year is July 1 through June 30. You can make a tax-deductible gift to Cambridge Friends School by using one of the following methods:

Checks – Make your check payable to Cambridge Friends School and mail to:

Office of Institutional Advancement

Cambridge Friends School

5 Cadbury Road

Cambridge, MA 02140

Credit Cards/Online Giving – Call the Office of Institutional Advancement at 617.354.3880, ext. 117, with your credit card account information, or give securely online.

Matching Gifts – Many employers will match an employee’s contribution to CFS through their Matching Gift Program. Contact your Human Resources office to see if your employer matches your charitable contributions.

Stock – CFS welcomes gifts of stock. Instruct your broker about the amount of the gift, type of stock, and number of shares. Ask your broker to contact the Office of Institutional Advancement at 617.354.3880 ext. 117 for information about how to transfer stock to CFS.

Bequests & Planned Giving – Giving a living gift to Cambridge Friends School is a powerful way to impart your legacy for future generations. Donors who make arrangements for Cambridge Friends School in their final plans are inducted into the 1961 Friends Society and are recognized for their generosity through a yearly event.

IRA – If you are 70.5 years of age, a gift from your IRA made directly to CFS will qualify towards your annual IRA required minimum distribution. Contact your IRA plan administrator to obtain the proper transmittal form, then inform CFS of the designation of your gift. You may do so by one or both of the following:

  • Send an email to Krobo Wokoma, Director of Development, Marketing and Communication, with your name, contact information, IRA plan administrator name, gift amount, and your gift designation
  • Write the designation at the bottom of your transmittal form

Volunteer – Let your life speak! There are many ways to get involved in development efforts at Cambridge Friends School. From sitting on event committees, to helping with alumni and donor research, to taking a few moments to stop by our “appreciation station” there are countless ways to give back with the gift of time. Contact Director of Development, Marketing and Communication, Krobo Wokoma, to learn more.
