Admission Process

At Cambridge Friends School, we honor excellence in all that we do, with a belief that social justice, tolerance, and equality are requirements of an excellent education. Our admission process plays a vital role in establishing an inclusive environment where our students have the space to explore their ideas and identities.

Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision. Our transparent enrollment process will give you a complete understanding of the nurturing environment at CFS and how we bring our educational philosophy to life in our day-to-day activities. If you think Cambridge Friends School could be right for your family, contact us to receive more information and schedule a time to come for a visit!

Process, Requirements, and Timeline

Whether you’re curious to learn more about CFS or ready to start the application process, all parents should schedule a virtual call. This lasts about 45 minutes and allows you to ask questions and get a better understanding of CFS and how we can offer a great future for your child.

After the virtual call is complete, you will be able to fully start the application process. If you are interested in applying for Financial Aid, make sure to visit our Tuition and Financial Aid page which goes into more detail. Admission Decisions

Our Admissions Committee meets to discuss each individual application. The aim of the committee is to bring together a diverse group of children who will be able to learn and grow together in peace and harmony.

We understand that financial issues are a concern for some families, and to assist with that, over 40% of our student body receives some form of financial aid. Interested parents can learn more about our financial aid policies and contact us with any additional questions.

Cambridge Friend School does not discriminate on the basis of sex, religion, race, color, national and ethnic origin, or sexual orientation in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, financial aid, and other school-administered programs. We follow the Quaker ideas of equality and inclusivity in all that we do, including our enrollment process.
