Cambridge Friends School believes our space should be utilized by the community. We have a variety of rental options for both one-time events and regular organization meetings. Come see our rental space in north Cambridge for weddings, sports leagues, birthday parties, church gatherings, and more!
We offer the following spaces for rent at these rates effective July 1, 2023:
- Gym (3883 square feet) – $150/hr
- Meeting Hall (1688 square feet) – $125/hr
- The Center (381 square feet) – $80/hr
- Classrooms – $70 – $80/hr (depending upon size)
- Kitchen – $50 flat rate for use when renting another space
- Soccer Field – $150/hr
- Courtyard – $70/hr
- Field – $150/hr
A refundable security deposit will be included in all rentals, and a cleaning fee may be charged depending on the rental needs. Payment in full is due prior to the scheduled event.

Availability:
Rentals may be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays during the school year. Spaces may also be available during the week from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am. Summer rentals are also available.
Parking and Public Transportation:
Rentals include access to the CFS parking lot for approximately 30 cars. On street parking is available with the appropriate Cambridge Parking Permit. CFS is conveniently located between the Porter Square and Alewife T-stations on the Red Line and is a 10-15 minute walk from these locations.
Tables and Chairs:
Renters may have use of rectangular folding tables and folding chairs at an additional cost. Set-up and clean-up are the responsibility of the renter.
Staff Fee:
An additional $40/hour staffing fee will be charged for rentals.
Discounts:
We offer discounted rates for multiple hours and long term rentals.
Certificate of Insurance:
All renters are required to secure a Certificate of Liability Insurance. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted except in accordance with local ordinances and then only if copies of all required permits are submitted to CFS in advance of the rental.
