Welcome to Admission at CFS!

Welcome to the Cambridge Friends School Office of Admission! We are so glad you are here.

Our School offers a unique combination of challenging academics, a family-like community, and a school-wide commitment to diversity and inclusion. At CFS, each student develops the tools they need to reach their full potential as scholars and as members of society.

At this moment in time, school looks a little bit different than it did in the fall. Cambridge Friends School faculty nimbly and effectively pivoted to distance learning beginning on March 12. At first, I was apprehensive about what this meant for our campus culture: How would we stay connected to each other, as a school that so values community? How would we be able to carry on our dynamic, hands-on projects for students when living rooms and kitchens become our new classrooms? As it turns out, community is not just something that exists within the walls of our Cadbury Road building, and rigorous learning, when paired with the expertise and dedication of our incredible faculty, can be joyfully accomplished at home. Our Online Learning page goes into great detail about how our students have been #StillLearning at home.

We’ve made small changes to our admission process to move each step of the process online, but still maintain the essential face-to-face contact points to keep the process feeling human. We offer both parent and student interviews over video conference, and are available to answer any questions you have by email or by phone. We will keep you updated on your progress and will notify you when you’ve completed your application.

There is a $50 application fee per child. The tuition cost of Cambridge Friends School ranges by grade and can be found here. It is our goal to make CFS accessible and affordable for all families. Our financial aid program helps us with that goal and opens doors for many families who otherwise may not be able to afford our outstanding education.
