Jennifer “Jen” Salvucci Bent

Jen Salvucci has been teaching for twenty-four years, with seventeen of those spent at Cambridge Friends School. She has a BFA in Theater Performance with an Emphasis in Acting for the Camera from Chapman University. She joined the CFS community in August of 2009 as the drama teacher. Today, she is the Director of Family Engagement and Secondary School Placement, as well as the drama teacher. Every day is different and she loves that!

Jen’s favorite thing about CFS is how supportive the community is – through the ups and downs of life, this school has been there for her and she truly appreciates it. Her favorite thing about being a drama teacher is seeing a child bloom onstage; it is truly magical and it’s why she loves what she does!

In addition to working at CFS, she is an acting coach at Boston Casting, where she teaches everyone from really little kids (her youngest student was 3) to tweens, teens, and adults (her oldest student was 91). She really enjoys seeing what draws people at different life stages to acting. She is also an actor, college counselor, and mom of two fabulous daughters (Alexandra, 11, and Charlotte, 9) and two fur babies (Smurph and Gus Gus, her cats).
