David Lang

David has a variety of roles at CFS. He teaches two sections of lower school physical education, 1st grade literacy, 1st grade math, and 4th grade math.

David earned his bachelor’s degree from Tufts University in American Studies with a focus on Latin American history and has been a teacher for 13 years. He was drawn to teaching because his mother was an ESL teacher for 35 years in Somerville and his father was a professor of astrophysics at Tufts University. Of course he also enjoys making a difference in the lives of his students!

David joined CFS in September 2025 and loves how the school is so accepting of everyone no matter their background or life experiences. He is both an Italian and American citizen and speaks fluent Italian and Spanish.

David is a massive soccer fan and travels to Italy, England and other cities in the United States to watch matches and meet up with the countless friends he has made along the way.
