Building Inclusive Communities

How does one build an inclusive community? It’s something on our mind, especially these days, and fortunately as a Quaker school, it’s something we’ve been practicing for quite a while. And while it’s been part of our school for a long time, building inclusive communities is not something with an end goal, a static state or a place to “arrive”, but rather a continual and unfolding process, a path walked together.
Our friends at the Friends Council on Education recently shared an article that “speaks our mind” on some of the essential pieces and practices that we here at Cambridge Friends incorporate into our school day and our students’ lives as we work to build an inclusive community.
