Middle School

The Cambridge Friends School Middle School is nurturing tomorrow’s leaders by developing powerful communication skills in a challenging intellectual environment. Strengthened by the Quaker principles of character, stewardship, and community, CFS students are constantly challenged to act even when it is difficult, to be courageous even when it is unpopular, and to navigate conflict when others might be too timid.

At CFS, we know that an integral part of being a leader as an adult is being thoughtful and intelligent. That is why Cambridge Friends offers a differentiated curriculum built on attention to each individual student. Our teachers are not only experts in their subject areas, they are also specialists in working with middle schoolers.

If you ask parents why they choose Cambridge Friends School for their children, they will invariably say that their kids are both happy and challenged. CFS honors each individual child, and the school believes that differences in race, religion, gender, socioeconomic status, background, family structure, and geography make us stronger. CFS encourages multiple paths for our students to appreciate their own identity and appreciate that of others.
